CNAME Records in Website Hosting
If you have a website hosting plan from our company and you wish to create a CNAME record, it'll take you only a few mouse clicks to make it happen. You can access the DNS records for all domain names and subdomains hosted inside your account via the Hepsia CP offered with each plan and adding a new record is as easy as clicking on a button, selecting the type, which will be CNAME in this case, inputting the actual record value and saving the modification. If you have never added such a record before, we have a Help section with a detailed video tutorial that you can watch, or you can just contact us and we will help you with this task. If you have set up a site using another provider, you want to use a private URL for your webmail or you wish to designate a subdomain for use with the services of a different provider, like Google Apps, all it takes is creating a CNAME record with a few mouse clicks in your CP.
CNAME Records in Semi-dedicated Servers
You are going to be able to set up, edit and delete CNAME records easily with any one of our semi-dedicated server plans. The accounts are controlled through the custom Hepsia hosting Control Panel, and in one of its sections you'll see all records for every domain or subdomain you have added in your account. To create a new record, you only need to pick the hostname that will be forwarded (domain/subdomain), enter where it will be forwarded to, select the record type, which will be CNAME in this case, and you'll be all set. Even if you haven't used a web hosting service before, our CP is very intuitive to use, so you'll not have any difficulties. We also have a short video and an in-depth help article on how to create a CNAME record, both of which are located in the exact same section of Hepsia. With this function, you can easily use a domain address hosted on our innovative cloud hosting platform for a site created someplace else, create a custom webmail login address with any of your domains, and a lot more.
